Saturday, May 2, 2015It was about 5:30 a.m. when 32-year-old Christopher Daughtry was speeding northbound on Route 22, and he accidentally departed the roadway while trying to avoid another car. His car entered a driveway and damaged a call box, parked car, and tree, before rolling multiple times. He was hospitalized with some head and neck injuries and will be cited for speeding.

New York, NYA 2003 GMC pick-up truck, operated by Christopher C. Osborne, Jr., age 42, of Pawling, New York, was traveling northbound on State Route 22. A 2015 Subaru Forester, operated by Mario L. Riccobon, age 65, of Carmel, New York, was traveling southbound on State Route 22. Investigation revealed that Osborne crossed over the double yellow lines into the southbound lane and struck the Subaru head-on. A passenger in the Subaru Forester, 63-year-old Jean Riccobon, of Carmel, was pronounced dead at the scene by Transcare. Mr.

Sunday, June 15, 2014Authorities say a 78-year-old Vermont man has been killed when his motorcycle was rear-ended by a truck in an eastern New York village.
Police tell The Post-Star of Glens Falls that Vincent Mainillo of Bennington was headed south on Route 22 around 1 p.m. Monday when he was hit from behind by a box truck in Cambridge, near the Vermont border 35 miles northeast of Albany.
Officials say Mainillo was pinned under the truck and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say Mainillo was apparently staying at a lakeside campground a few miles north of Cambridge.
