Deputies say they believe alcohol was a factor in the crash, but it remains under investigation.
Police say Jesse Turner was driving an ATV west 20 Mile Road just after 11 p.m. Saturday when he failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a passenger car. He was brought to Spectrum-Butterworth Hospital, where he later died. Three people were in the other car. The driver, a 42-year-old Grandville resident, sustained a fractured pelvis, while his two passengers, a 40-year-old woman and 16-year-old girl, were only minorly injured.
