According to a CHP officer on scene, 28-year-old Grace Elizabeth Ward, from Red Bluff, was driving a gray Chevrolet Impala traveling northbound on I-5, in the area of Knighton Road, when she went through the center median and began driving northbound in the southbound lanes.

Deputies said the victim is known as 29-year-old John Folsom of San Antonio, Texas.
