Man, Woman from New York Die in Crash on I-95 inFlorida

PALM COAST, Fla. (AP) — The Florida Highway Patrol says two people from Brooklyn, New York, died in a crash on Interstate 95. Troopers say a Ford Escort driven by 85-year-old Luigi Camporeale was on the shoulder of I-95 near Palm Coast on Tuesday night when “for unknown reasons” the vehicle made a left turn into the path of a tractor-trailer that was traveling in the center lane. The truck struck the car’s driver’s side before both vehicles finally stopped in the median. Camporeale and 76-year-old Filomena Camporeale were declared dead at the scene.
