Alcohol suspected in deadly wrong-way Seminole crash

Investigators say it is not known where Pulkownik began driving in the wrong direction on Park Boulevard. The FHP believes Pulkownik may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.

Alcohol is suspected in a wrong way crash that resulted in the deaths of two people in Seminole on Christmas morning. Paul Pulkownik, 51, was driving a 1998 Ford Explorer the wrong direction on Park Boulevard. He collided with a 2009 Hyundai Sonata driven by Isabel Martins, 58, of Largo. Martins and her passenger, Joao Martins, 84, also of Largo, died in the collision. Pulkownik was taken to Bayfront Medical Center. His condition is not known at this time.
