One woman critically injured and two people injured in motorcycle crash with car on North Hoyne in Chicago, Illinois
Motorcyclist Critically Injured In Bucktown Crash
A female motorcyclist was critically wounded Friday night in a crash that injured two other people in the Bucktown neighborhood on the North Side.
The crash occurred at approximately 11:55 p.m. when the motorcyclist was heading north on North Hoyne, failed to stop at a stop sign, and collided with a car traveling eastbound on West Armitage. The female motorcyclist was transported in critical condition to Stroger Hospital, and two occupants of the vehicle were also transported to Stroger Hospital, where they are listed in stable condition.
Since motorcycle crashes often end in serious injuries, victims need immediate help
Motorcycle accidents are more likely to end in serious injuries or death for the motorcyclist, since the rider is not protected from the force of a collision. When a motorcycle accident happens, the injured rider needs immediate, appropriate medical care, the accident needs to be investigated, and the insurance companies need to be informed.
When a motorcycle crash is caused by negligence, additional steps need to be taken to protect the legal rights of the injured motorcyclist or the family members of someone killed in a motorcycle crash. Go here to learn more about motorcycle accidents and claims.
