Indiana man pleads guilty in crash that killed passenger

A southern Indiana man has pleaded guilty to several drunken driving charges stemming from an October crash that killed a Kansas man who was riding in his car. Twenty-three-year-old Jordan T. Griffin pleaded guilty Wednesday to operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing death and four other drunken driving charges.

ISP say Griffen had a blood alcohol level of 0.41 and will face charges.

However, Griffin’s father, Greg Griffin of Versailles, told The Associated Press he was looking for an attorney for his son. Jordan Griffin remained hospitalized Sunday, his father said.

Jefferson Co. crash kills one, injures several others

Blood alcohol testing indicated Griffin had a BAC of .41.  He is now facing numerous charges as a result of his impaired driving condition.

1 dead, 5 hurt in SE Ind. DUI crash

A Ripley County man is facing several charges after a fatal weekend crash.  
Drunk driver Jordan Griffin collided head-on into a truck carrying a man and four children around 4 p.m. on Saturday. Griffen's passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not yet been released. Both drivers and the four children were transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
