Market Basket Worker Hit By Snowplow Dies

 “It’s an unfortunate tragedy that she’s not with us anymore,” one friend named Saad told WBZ NewsRadio 1030. “All we can do is just pray and hope that she has a great time in heaven.”
A 21-year-old Fitchburg woman has died two days after being struck by a snowplow Friday evening. Elizabeth Hill had just left work at Market Basket in Fitchburg when she was hit on the John Fitch Highway at about 6:30 p.m. The road was narrowed by the recent snowfall. Hill worked at Market Basket for 3 years while attending Mount Wachusett Community College. Police said that as of yet no charges have been brought against the snowplow driver.
