Passenger killed in crash identified

Bryan Matthew Davison was the passenger in a Chrysler PT Cruiser driven by Merissa Watson, a 24-year-old Mancelona woman, at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, said Traverse City police Chief Jeff O'Brien. Watson lost control of the car, crossed the center line and struck a southbound four-door Nissan driven by Susan Randazzo, a 59-year-old Traverse City woman. Watson's PT Cruiser also struck a Volkswagen driven by Lewis Thelen, an Indiana man living in Traverse City.

O'Brien said the report will be sent to the prosecutor — the standard practice for any fatal crash — but no charges will be requested against Watson.
