A man died after reportedly taking off from a fender-bender in Kearns, then crashing into fences, cars, a light pole and a garage. He drove through the neighborhood, and "hit two fences, two cars, a light pole and then a house" near 5800 S. Tressler Drive (4480 West), striking the garage shortly before 6 p.m., Lassig said. The man allegedly rear-ended another driver Saturday evening. They both got out and started talking, but when the man realized the other driver was calling the police, he got back in his SUV and took off, said Unified Police Lt. He wound up a few blocks from the fender-bender.
