A Marysville man died from injuries suffered in a head-on crash on U.S 2 Tuesday night.

State troopers said Baskins might have survived the crash if he had been wearing his seatbelt. "This is a very sad reminder we must wear our seat belts at all times; he was not," said Trooper Keith Leary.
The crash occurred at milepost 6 near Snohomish. Andrew Baskins, 37, was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, where he died. He was westbound when his Honda Accord crossed the centerline and collided with an eastbound Jeep driven by a Monroe man, 77, who was also transported to the Everett hospital with undisclosed injuries.
