Police: Drunk hit-and-run crash suspect kicks out patrol car window
Officers took the woman to nearby Swedish Edmonds to be checked out and determine if she was drunk.
An allegedly drunk 24-year-old woman was initially involved in a crash on 76th Avenue W when she chose to flee the scene. Between the other driver involved in that crash following her and contacting authorities, police managed to pull the woman over at the nearby intersection of 220th Street SW and State Route 99, but when she was loaded into the patrol car she kicked out one of the windows and was injured because of it. She is now being tested for being drunk and will likely face charges of hit-and-run, DUI, and the damaging of a patrol car.
